ျမန္မာနိုင္ငံအေၾကာအဆစ္ကုပညာရွင္အသင္း WCPT ကမ ၻာ့အသင္း၀င္ျဖစ္ၿပီ

ျမန္မာနိုင္ငံအေၾကာအဆစ္ကုပညာရွင္အသင္း (Myanmar Physiotherapy Association - MPA) သည္ ၂၀၁၃ ခုႏွစ္ ၾသဂုတ္လတြင္ နိုင္ငံေတာ္အစိုးရမွတရား၀င္အသိအမွတ္ျပဳခဲ့ေသာပညာရွင္အသင္းျဖစ္လာခဲ့သည္။ 

ထိုအခ်ိန္မွစၿပီး ျမန္မာနိုင္ငံအေၾကာအဆစ္ကုပ ညာရွင္အသင္းသည္ ဒုတိယလုပ္ငန္းစဥ္ႀကီးျဖစ္ေသာ အသင္းႀကီး၏ေကာင္စီဥပေဒၾကမ္း (Physiotherapy Council Law [Draft]) ေရးဆြဲေရးကို အားသြန္ခြန္စိုက္ေဆာင္ရြက္ခဲ့ၿပီး ျမန္မာနိုင္ငံအေၾကာအဆစ္ကုပညာရွင္အသင္းေကာင္စီဥပေဒၾကမ္းကို က်န္းမာေရး၀န္ႀကီးရံုးသို႔တင္သြင္းခဲ့ပါသည္။ 

တစ္ခ်ိန္တည္းမွာ လန္ဒန္တြင္အေျခစိုက္ေသာ ကမ ၻာ့အေၾကာအဆစ္ကုပညာရွင္အသင္း ႀကီး (World Confederation for Physical Therapy - WCPT) ႏွင့္ဆက္သြယ္ကာ အသင္း၀င္ ျဖစ္လာေရးအတြက္ လိုအပ္ေသာျပင္ဆင္မႈမ်ားကို WCPT၏လမ္းညႊန္ခ်က္မ်ားအရ ေဆာင္ရြက္ခဲ့သည္။ 

WCPT၏အမႈေဆာင္အဖြဲ႔၀င္ျဖစ္သူ‘ေဒါက္တာမားေဂါ့စကင္နာ’ကိုယ္တိုင္ ျမန္မာျပည္သို႔လာေရာက္လ်က္ ျမန္မာနိုင္ငံအေၾကာအဆစ္ကုပညာရွင္အသင္းကို လိုအပ္ေသာလမ္းညႊန္မႈေပးျခင္းႏွင့္ WCPTအသင္း၀င္ျဖစ္ ေျမာက္ေရးအတြက္ အကူအညီေပးျခင္းမ်ားျပဳလုပ္ေပးခဲ့သည္။

၂၀၁၇ ခုႏွစ္က ေတာင္အာဖရိကနိုင္ငံ ကိတ္(ပ)ေတာင္းၿမိဳ ႔တြင္ျပဳလုပ္ခဲ့ေသာ အေၾကာအဆစ္ကုပညာရပ္ဆိုင္ရာကမ ၻာ့ညီလာခံႀကီးက ျမန္မာနိုင္ငံအေၾကာအဆစ္ကုပညာရွင္အသင္းကိုယာယီအသင္း၀င္ (Provisional member)အျဖစ္အသိအမွတ္ျပဳခဲ့သည္။

ယင္းညီ လာခံတြင္စာေရးသူသည္ျမန္မာနိုင္ငံအေၾကာအဆစ္ကုပညာရွင္အသင္းမွဒုဥကၠ႒ဦးတင္လိႈင္စိုးႏွင့္အတူ ေဒါက္တာမားေဂါ့စကင္နာကိုေတြ႔ဆံုလ်က္ တင္းျပည့္အသင္း၀င္ျဖစ္ေရး အတြက္ လိုအပ္ခ်က္မ်ားႏွင့္လမ္းညႊန္မႈမ်ား ရယူေဆြးေႏြးခဲ့ပါသည္။  

ၿပီးခဲ့ေသာေမလက ဆြစ္ဇာလန္နိုင္ငံဂ်နီဗာၿမိဳ ႔တြင္ က်င္းပခဲ့ေသာWCPT Congress က ျမန္မာနိုင္ငံအေၾကာအဆစ္ကုပညာရွင္အသင္းကို တင္းျပည့္အသင္း၀င္ (Full member) အျဖစ္အသိအမွတ္ျပဳခဲ့သည္။ 

WCPT Press Release အရ ကမ ၻာ့အ ေၾကာအဆစ္ကုပညာရွင္အသင္းႀကီးတြင္ အေၾကာအဆစ္ကုပညာရွင္အသင္းသားေပါင္း ၄၅၀,၀၀၀ ဦးရွိၿပီး အသင္း၀င္နိုင္ငံေပါင္း ၁၁၀ ေက်ာ္ရွိေၾကာင္းသိရွိရပါသည္။ 

ကမ ၻာ့အေၾကာအဆစ္ကုပညာရွင္အသင္းႀကီးက MPA ကို အေၾကာအဆစ္ကုပညာရပ္ဆိုင္ရာမူ၀ါဒမ်ား၊ ပညာရပ္အဆင့္ျမင့္မားေရးႏွင့္ ပညာေရးဖြံ႔ၿဖိဳးမႈ အစရွိသည္မ်ားကို  ကူညီပံ့ပိုးေဆာင္ရြက္ေပးမည္ျဖစ္သည္။

သို႔ျဖစ္ရာျမန္မာနိုင္ငံ၏က်န္းမာေရးစီမံေဆာင္ရြက္မႈမ်ားတြင္ အေၾကာအဆစ္ကုပညာရွင္မ်ားသည္ ယခုထက္ပိုမိုထိေရာက္အဆင့္ျမင့္စြာ ၀န္ေဆာင္မႈေပးနိုင္ေတာ့မည္ျဖစ္သည္။

ျမန္မာနိုင္ငံအေၾကာအဆစ္ကုပညာရွင္အသင္းတို႔ကိုကိုယ္စားျပဳလ်က္ MPA ဥကၠ႒ ဦးတင္လိႈင္စိုးက ျမန္မာ၀တ္စံု၀တ္ၿပီး ျမန္မာနိုင္ငံေတာ္၏အလံကို ေပးအပ္နိုင္ခဲ့သည္မွာ အားလံုး၀မ္းေျမာက္ဂုဏ္ယူစရာႀကီး ျဖစ္ခဲ့ပါသည္။ 

"World Confederation for Physical Therapy  (WCPT) granted Myanmar Physiotherapy Association (MPA) full membership"

Two years ago in Cape Town, South Africa, WCPT Executive Board granted MPA provisional membership. Since then executive committee members of MPA had made necessary preparations to meet the requirements of WCPT and to become a full-fledged member. 

WCPT General Meeting which took place on 8 and 9 May at the Starling Hotel in Geneva, Switzerland, granted MPA full member. 

During general meeting U Tin Hlaing Soe, who is a newly elected President of MPA, presented Myanmar national flag to WCPT President Dr Emma Stoke (Physical Therapist). 

Now Myanmar physiotherapists become members of WCPT through membership of their national association MPA. 

WCPT will help MPA establish policy and standards, develop education programmes and regulate the Physiotherapy profession in Myanmar.

According to WCPT Press Release, dated 10 May 2019, WCPT represents more than 450,000 physical therapists (also known as physiotherapist) through its 109 member organisations, and it is the international voice for physical therapy.
